Wise Words

Proverbs 11:29-31 29) those who bring trouble to their families inherit the wind. the fool will be a servant to the wise. 30) The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life: a wise person wins friends. 31) If the righteous are rewarded here on earth, what will happen to wicked sinners?

Working with some women is IMPOSSIBLE!

Being a 45-year old woman myself, I have chosen and born into women surrounding me.
My office consists of mostly men, and for the past four years, I haven't had any problem with co-workers, until now. We have more women in the office.

One woman who works in our office is a mealy-mouthed baby about the majority of issues that most of us face in life.  It's sad. I don't ask for anything, but this out-of-touch person doesn't want Lysol to be sprayed in a woman's restroom. She is one of those tree-hugging sweeties defending her right to not inhale CFC's, and can't understand that Lysol is both a disinfectant and deodorizer. Whatever.   Approximately 10 years my junior, I don't think "life" has affected her.

Regardless, I'm highly allergic to Citric Acid, Oranges, Lemons, Grapefruit, etc. and can't even tolerate the smell (She knows this!).  My throat closes up, I can't breathe.... you get the picture. Anyway, she goes and buys ORANGE scented deodorizer for the company women's restroom and sprays it JUST TO SPRAY IT, I guess.

I've asked nicely for months because I can't even go to the restroom while working because of this immature person. She continues to flower the office restroom with citrus spray, even went and bought $50.00 of it and tried to expense it. How stupid and juvenile do you have to be?
We ALL need jobs, and we ALL need to work together, accommodating each other (at least respecting the others wishes). She even CC'd our HR director on an RE: email to me.
WOMEN!

Give me an office full of men and you'll have absolutely NO complaints! Women are petty and devious.
That's my rant for today.

My mind spins constantly. Sometimes it would be nice to have a blank brain. No thoughts, no worries and no ideas!

Today has been interesting. I've learned some new essentials about myself, and I'm relying on hope and fate right now. Prayer has been the quintessential part of my life, as I rely on no being.

I miss home and my family. Tennessee is an amazing state, but it's just not my home. I'm missing Mississippi now more than ever. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back soon.

I miss the person I love. Seems like we've not seen each other in months but it's only been weeks.
Plans for a week-long visit very soon.

These Days....

Well, it's years after my first entry and I'm going to stay attentive.
There are so many things to write about but I want to focus on my house.

Darrah graduated from High School back in 2013, and has been working part time since.
She moved out for a couple of months, but immediately moved back home. She's supposed to return to college in the fall of this yer (I'm praying).

Devan is a Junior, and getting him to pass his classes is like pulling teeth or herding cats. It's rough.
He has a job now. He works at Zaxby's on Hwy 100, and seems to like it just fine. I'll like it when he saves enough money for a car, so I don't have to get him to and from work. it was a simpler time when I was working and had my first car.

I hear from my Andrew occasionally. He's got a new job at the Discovery Center in Murfreesboro. Seems to be the comedic "Mr. Wizard" of the place.

Greg and I are continuing to see each other. It's getting harder and harder to stay away from each other. I hope our future together will be bright. I know we both want to live in Pensacola. That's a plus!

At the end of the day, my mind is a bit more receptive to writing.
Until then...
