Drugs

It's been a long time since my last blog. SO much has happened. I'm back in my home state. I've abandoned my grown kids in TN. and Insurance companies won't pay for medication I have to have, NEED! I must take an exam in less that two weeks, and cannot retain information due to brain trauma. Neurologist has prescribed meds but I can't afford them, $1,000.00.

2nd Presidential Debates

I had to work the eve of the debates and even though I visually saw them on the restaurant TV's, I couldn't listen. Now, I'm streaming them and viewing at my REAL job. Wow! who does Chris Christie think he is? No one wants to use him as a vessel to "fix" this country. He can't even fix traffic problems in New Jersey. Not only that, he would be a more laws on the books and more dollars spent for programs this country doesn't need. We need to cut more than half of the laws that our nation has.

The Last Senior

I have anticipated this year for a very long time. Devan is a Senior and will be graduating High School in May of 2016. The last child, last year of public school. I feel very blessed that my children, although very different from my schooling, didn't have to succumb to the way public education has turned. Common Core, rebuking History and teaching a skewed view. Once again, I will start my life over, as a single woman with grown children. I've had dependents to take care of for 25-26 years. I won't know what to do with myself. As far as a new home, I want to go back to my home state. Jobs aren't as prevalent as they are in Nashville, TN., but it's still home. I made it work for 23 years, I'll make it work again. I will miss my children greatly, but I cannot stay here with no family. My grown children have their own lives and my Mother is becoming older and needs help. I hope mine is welcomed.

Verizon, February 1, 2016....We're done!!

Busy day at work, but happened to start up a chat session with a Verizon Rep. I've been having a multitude of problems with mine and my children's phones. I've had two tear up on my and two refurbished phones sent to replace the new one. Anyway, long story and not worth getting into AGAIN. Today I started a chat session and when the Rep wouldn't give me any credible discount, refund or plausible answer as to why my bill is so high, I began to recant my tale of disgruntled customer and wanting to speak with a supervisor, etc., etc. The chat abruptly ended!! So, I go back on the site and start a second chat, copy and paste the original chat into the box and hit enter. Low and behold, a SECOND Rep ignores me. Chat ends. I do this for a third and final time to no avail. I'm FED UP. Tired of being screwed by these Multi-Billion dollar companies who don't give a damned about their customer base. The third chat representative got a copied and pasted commercial of Sprint's deal. HAHA. I'm done!

It's gonna hurt...

Mother's rant of the day: My 20-year-old, who has grown up watching me struggle and work hard for the very little I have is out of a job, car broken down, and owes me money. This is NOT how I reared my children. They all know that they must work for anything they get in this life, and today that's harder than ever. I cannot support another person, especially a grown woman who had the whole world before her, after high school. She refused to buckle down and go to college. She moved out for three weeks, costing her thousands of dollars, and now, her paid for car is broken down. She's quit paying jobs and has no idea what kind of a whole she's put herself in. I am working very had to keep mine and my 17-year-old son's heads above water, for fear of drowning. It's the toughest it's ever been. Prayers appreciated as I'm in constant prayer myself.

Horror, Honor, Humility, Home...... Hattiesburg.

All over this great nation we are witnessing tragic acts of violence against one another and against authority. Well, this past week, my hometown was subject to such nightmares. Two Hattiesburg Police Officers were shot and killed during a routine traffic stop. Since this tragic occurrence, I've not read and seen what love this community has, but also have witnessed the selfless acts of Patriotism the rest of this country has shown for the two. 30 years ago was the last time a Police Officer was shot from my hometown, and I remember it well. Let's hope and pray that this will be the last time we see such a tragic loss. Please pray for Hattiesburg Mississippi, the greatest town I've ever known.
